Here is a little picture tutorial on how to put in a Hair Tutu to get the best effect. This is on pig tails, but it works for ponytails or braids, as well.

| Start with hair styled as desired. |

| Then gather all the tutu to one side. |
 |
| Put the hair tutu around the pigtail (or ponytail or braid), with the tutu up. |
 |

| Pull the tutu tight against the hair. |
 |
| Twist the bare hair tie part of the hair tutu as if putting in a regular hair tie. |
 |
| Twist the bare part of the hair tutu around as if putting in a regular hair tie until it is securely on the hair. |
 |
| Once securely around the hair push the hair tutu past the hair tie that is securing the hair. This will help keep the hair tutu in place. |
